Rodney Skinner

Ringer in the Winchester District

Rodney is a ringing veteran having learned to ring well over 50 years ago at old Alresford.  He's always lived in the locality and rang mainly at Ropley until the church burned down in 2014. He's now eagerly awaiting the completion of the restoration and the resumption of ringing there.

Rodney has the distinction of being the first person to call a peal on the bells at Ropley and the first person to circle the tower with quarter peals.
